Always an interesting moment when Richard San or Tim San turn to one of their instructors and utters the phrase; ‘Sen take the class please’, but this request holds no trepidation for Tor San, who stepped up to the plate on Wednesday night and ran an amazing class…of course!
Tor San has been Richard San’s student for some 13 years now, ( you can still catch Tor’s full bio in the ‘The Lounge’ blog!) and has both great experience in martial arts and of instruction, being Richard San’s right hand man in the dojo now for many years. This brings with him a great wealth of experience and of knowledge, plus helped by a really relaxed personality that all students warm to instantly. His area of expertise is of course Aikido, but as on Wednesday night proved, he can turn his had to just about anything, he ran a great combat class that had as many jokes in as painful takedowns!!

In other news, well done to Dohigh Chris for his really tough one and half hour private grading for Blue belt in Aikido Te on Monday night, which he passed! Superb stamina after being of off sick over the whole December period, we’re very proud of you Dohigh! Also if any of you have been given the OK to enter the 1st part gradings to make you eligible for the fast approaching March the 3rd national gradings, then you should be busy practicing, as they will be within the next 2 weeks!!
