Stay tuned to the members page of the web site in the coming weeks as we update our new grading information. We will be publishing dates for BOTH first and second part gradings, giving students who wish to to get their next grade the opportunity to better plan their training. As always the instruction team is focused on getting the best out of our students; helping them become better martial artists. Whether thats during the Monday or Wednesday nights sessions (remember you are welcome to both!) or in an extra private lessons, and now…through these new ‘Wisewarrior Challenges’, which are designed to help and encourage your practicing at home…a challenge indeed! 🙂
But of course the best focus for improving the skill of all students we think; is a grading be that the national BAMA ones or even our own Wisewarrior dojo gradings. There is nothing like the excitement of a grading to make a student practice and hone their skills, making them familiar and natural to both body and mind. With each grading a student grows in confidence and ability, their martial arts is not just understood it can also be demonstrated!
So to help students better prepare for their gradings we are creating a; ‘grading and performance night’. The first one is on July the 31st, this is where any student who wishes to be put forward to the next National Gradings on September the 1st must need to perform their 1st Part grading, also anyone going for a Wisewarrior dojo grade will grade on that night too.
But this is also a performance night, so just because you are not grading doesn’t mean you will not be asked to perform a kata; and thats everybody in the room even blackbelts. (Yes that includes Richard San and Tim San!)
So this will be a very exciting night not to missed, which should really help our students look their best for gradings, plus also a great chance to watch and learn from all the highest grades in the room!
This should keep us all on our toes, the best place for a martial artist! 🙂
See you in the dojo!
