Its been a fun year for Wisewarrior Training, we can only hope all our students have enjoyed it as much as the instructors!
Kicking of with the black belt only seminar back in March, (man, that was one weird session!) and a karate seminar in August (Tim San unleashed!) We’ve also started a whole new resource potential for all you martial artists through our email lessons, and of course the-
Twitter updates and blogs.
But for us instructors we think the highlight of the year has to be without doubt both ‘Grading and Performance nights’ in July and November.
Both were very well attended and supported and second only to the National Gradings themselves for getting the most out of you guys! Everyone even the instructors were working hard, performing and growing, these nights give every one something to aspire to.
So well done to everyone and we will most definitely be organising more of those next year (check the members page for 2014 grading dates!).
And what better way to round off this amazing year than with our Christmas Meal! Although only a casual affair in a local pub, it was very well attended and really great to see everyone together and trying to eat all the food they kept brining out! 🙂
Our thoughts as instructors now turn to 2014 and what fresh projects we can organize to help you all enjoy and grow in the martial arts, so first off; the reintroduction of the black belt only sessions, once a month comencing on January 6th. A long over due lesson that promises not to disappoint. Coupled with more free workshops and seminars and even a new combat/conditioning class that is in the pipeline for early 2014. Its already shaping up into a pretty awesome year ahead!!
Our parting shot for this year is that right across the board, every student has grown these past twelve months.
Just about everyone has gone up a belt or two, we have had new blackbelts and Dan grades, all the stuff that helps fuel dojo life, but for Richard San, Tim San and the whole teaching team what really counts is that you all now stand a little taller in the dojo than you did last year…brilliant!
We would like to thank you for your support this last year and look forward to watching you all grow further in 2014.
Best wishes for Christmas and a Happy New Year from us to you!
