The festive celebrations are almost here and another year draws to a close. Looking back we have seen many successes in and out of the dojo with students across the board doing well in their training as well as there personal pursuits. It would seem Wisewarrior really does ‘Develop People Through Martial Arts’!!! A great year and well done to you all.
Monday was a mixed bag of dualistic sword demonstrations and advanced fighting deception concepts. The black belts were busy learning some quite nifty ‘opening moves’ that really proved that brains is always gonna win out over brawn! Skill is the key to all this high grade stuff and there was plenty of it floating around on Monday. And Nick San and Mark San were busy working on a soon to be unveiled sword display… Video to follow!
And Wednesday was all about the Knife Defence, with a 2 hour moving lecture on both theory and practice of how to defend against the armed attacker. Again here skill is the key and Tim San explained how to get the best results while staying safe. Dohigh Wills had stab at it, Tim San made his point and very swiftly dohigh learned how to get the edge and was looking sharp 😀
So it just remains for all of us here to wish all of our great students a very Merry Christmas, and we look forward to more excitement and growth in 2013!
Dont forget!!! If you wish to train before the 7th of January when Dean Close opens again, you will need to book your sessions with either Richard San or Tim San directly or through the blog. The available sessions dates are; 27th of December, 3rd and 4th of January, just let us know so we can book you a place.
